How do I read study results?
Open Launches and choose a launch. Its page shows response totals and a result card for every block in that frozen study version.
Check for new responses
Section titled “Check for new responses”The page does not update automatically. Reload it to fetch responses that arrived after you opened it.
If the launch looks out of sync
Section titled “If the launch looks out of sync”If you add, remove, or reorder blocks after launching, a running or paused launch keeps serving respondents the block order it had at launch time. Its page shows an out-of-sync warning naming this, with a link back to the study.
Launch again from the study to put the new order in front of new respondents. This run keeps its own order and its own responses until you pause, stop, or delete it; see Launch and share a study for what happens to an existing run when you launch again.
A stopped launch never shows this warning, since it is no longer serving anyone.
Read the result cards
Section titled “Read the result cards”Each card uses the shape that fits its block:
- Multiple choice, preference, copy test, rating scale, matrix, and ranking show counts, shares, or distributions.
- Open text and question chains show the answers respondents submitted.
- First-click, image click, five-second, and hotspot blocks show results against the tested asset.
- Card sort and tree test summarize how respondents grouped or navigated the content.
- Live prototype and live website show the captured task results for those methods.
- Intake shows the details respondents supplied at the start.
Instruction blocks do not ask for an answer, so their cards have no response payload to summarize.
Fiuto presents results by block. It does not currently provide a session drilldown that follows one respondent through the whole study.
Share an aggregate result snapshot
Section titled “Share an aggregate result snapshot”Owners and editors can share a snapshot after a launch has at least one completed response. The snapshot contains the study title, the aggregate completed-response count, and the Powered by Fiuto mark. The Fiuto mark is always included. The snapshot does not include individual answers or respondent details.
- Open Launches and choose the launch.
- Select Share results.
- Select Copy link to copy the public respondent link. Its link preview uses the completed-response count when the preview is fetched and the line “X people tested this”. Anyone who opens the link goes to the study for respondents.
- Select Download image for a 1200 × 630 PNG that you can add to a post or deck.
Analyse the responses
Section titled “Analyse the responses”Click Analyse on an eligible launch to generate an AI analysis of its responses. Analysis uses AI credits. Check Plan & usage for your balance and completed charges.
The analysis belongs to that launch version. Check its themes and conclusions against the underlying result cards before sharing them.
Export from the browser
Section titled “Export from the browser”On Core or Pro, use Export on the launch page to download the results for that launched version. Choose JSON when you need the nested study structure, or CSV when you want to open the data in a spreadsheet.
Each export is scoped to one version. Export another launch separately if you need both sets of responses.
Use version API access
Section titled “Use version API access”Version API access is available on Core and Pro. Open the launched version’s API access panel for a version-specific access token and export URL.
Treat the token as a secret. Anyone who has it can read that version’s responses. Rotate it from the same panel if it has been exposed; the old token stops working.
