How do I run my first study?
After your first sign-in, Fiuto guides you from a link to your product to a built study. Review the blocks, check the respondent experience in Preview, then click Launch and share the link.
1. Sign in
Section titled “1. Sign in”Open app.fiuto.ai and sign in. The full-screen setup flow opens after your first sign-in. Five dots track your progress.
This walkthrough stays in the web app. To work from Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or another coding agent instead, start with Connect from your agent.
2. Add a link to your product
Section titled “2. Add a link to your product”Paste the public URL for the product you want to test. Choose a role if one fits, then click Continue.
Fiuto reads the page to understand what the product is, who it is for, and its category.
3. Check what Fiuto found
Section titled “3. Check what Fiuto found”The next screen starts with Here’s what we found. Review the Product, Audience, and Category details.
Use Edit beside any detail that needs changing. You may also be asked to confirm or add your name. When the details look right, click Looks right, continue.
4. Choose what you want to learn
Section titled “4. Choose what you want to learn”Fiuto suggests research goals based on the product it found. Choose the closest one, or type your own under Something else.
Click Continue when the goal is ready.
5. Review the drafted study
Section titled “5. Review the drafted study”Fiuto drafts your first study and opens the built study in the editor.
If drafting takes too long or does not finish, Fiuto stops waiting and takes you to Studies with a message that it could not create the study. Select Try again to retry with the same goal.
Read through the blocks from top to bottom. Replace any example questions, assets, prototype links, or placeholders with your own. Use Add block if the study needs another question or task.
For the full editor guide, see Build a study.
6. Preview
Section titled “6. Preview”Click Preview in the editor. Fiuto opens the respondent view in a new tab with a preview banner.
Work through the study from start to finish. Check the question order, options, assets, and any screening paths. Preview answers are not saved, do not appear in results, and do not count as a response.
7. Launch
Section titled “7. Launch”Return to the editor and click Launch. Fiuto checks the study, freezes the current version, and opens the new launch page.
The frozen version is what respondents see. You can keep editing the study afterward, but those edits do not change an existing launch. Launch again when you want respondents to see a newer version.
8. Share the respondent link
Section titled “8. Share the respondent link”Copy the respondent link from the launch page and send it to the people whose feedback you want. Anyone with the link can open the study without a Fiuto account.
You can manage collection from the same launch page.
9. Read results
Section titled “9. Read results”Open Launches in the main navigation and choose the launch. The page shows session totals, completion rate, and one results card for each block.
New responses do not appear automatically. Reload the page to fetch the latest results.
Other ways through setup
Section titled “Other ways through setup”Choose Nothing to paste yet? if you want to describe the product instead of adding a URL. Skip for now exits setup and opens Studies.
You can choose I’ll decide later if you do not want to set a research goal yet. When Fiuto does not have enough context to build the blocks confidently, it may open a Plan for you to review instead of a built study.
